ARLINGTON, VA. – Crown Consulting Inc. is one of 14 companies awarded a position on a U.S. Department of Energy’s potential 10-year, $900 million follow-on contract to support the development, management, maintenance and operation of energy data collection programs and systems.

EOP V, a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, is the fifth iteration of the Energy Information Administration Omnibus Procurement vehicle. It will help EIA modernize data operations, increase analytical impact, improve customer experience and enable its mission objectives.

Crown will draw on its capabilities in enterprise data collection, analysis and management, communications and information technology support to advance EIA’s comprehensive energy data collection programs and systems, develop and manage energy models for forecasting, perform energy-related analyses and help build software and processes to disseminate the results of those activities to a wide range of stakeholders.

“We look forward to continuing our work with EIA helping build and maintain products and services that promote sound policy decision-making, provide data for a variety of markets and generate deeper public comprehension of energy data and issues,” said project lead Chris Graziano, vice president of Data Management & Analytics for Crown.
