Project Overview

Crown supports the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Weather Service with maintenance and logistics support of its Weather Radio All Hazard Network.

This critical nationwide network of radio stations broadcast continuous weather information and hazard warnings to the public. The network comprises radio systems at remote sites, each with a transmitter, antenna and transmission line.

Crown teams provide field and depot-level maintenance and logistics services for the network.

Our technicians maintain radios ranging in power from single and dual 100W to dual 1KW produced by every major manufacturer.   We maintain remote off-site monitoring systems and conduct site surveys, repairs and refurbishments for antenna systems and RF transmission lines.
